Foundations of Facilitation, Jan 2024

1/8/24 Training Canceled! The next Foundations of Facilitation training is in April 2024.

This training will be held on Zoom over three days, January 22, 23, & 24, 2024.
Each day, we will meet from 9 – 11 a.m. and 12 – 2 p.m. PT.
This training is a total of 12 hours.

The Foundations of Facilitation, adapted from The Ford Family Foundation’s training, is designed for Parenting Educators who implement parenting series in group settings. It is suitable for those new to facilitating and those looking to brush up and get new ideas.

Participants will:

• Understand and apply Adult Learning Principles
• Discuss and practice a variety of facilitation skills
• Reinforce the skill of engaging and including participants from all backgrounds
• Celebrate diversity
• Learn how to maintain fidelity to a curriculum
• Collaborate and have fun
