We all share the human need to feel connected to others and enjoy a sense of belonging. In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore concepts related to diversity, equity, and inclusion and how these can be applied to parenting education groups.

Your Trainer is:

Aoife Magee, PhD, started her affiliation with Parenting Now as a parent participating in an Incredible INFANTs group in 2000. She has served as a group facilitator for the Parenting: The First Three Years and Make Parenting A Pleasure series and in other roles related to parenting education through Parenting Now for the last two decades. Her academic background includes an MS and PhD in Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Oregon. Aoife is a faculty member in the Early Childhood Education Program at Lane Community College and an adjunct instructor for courses in Infant Toddler Mental Health and Early Childhood Intervention Programs at Portland State University.
